Nine Lakes Wines are superior at Wines of the South!

For the second year in a row, Nine Lakes Wine Country in East Tennessee has taken top honors at the Wines of the South Regional Wine Competition at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
The Winery at Seven Springs Farm in Maynardville won the Best of Tennessee Fruit / William O. Beach Award, for its Pink Bubbly, a sparkling pink wine made from Catawba grapes. This wine was also named Best of Show Sparkling, and it won a Concordance Gold Medal as well.
Hillside Winery in Sevierville brought home the new Governor’s Cup Award for the Eastern Division of the state, and Best of Muscadine, with its Muscadine Spumante.
Tsali Notch Vineyard in Madisonville won Best of Rose and Blush wines with its French Broad.
Wyile Cider Barn in Sevierville won Best of Cider with its Ilus. Cider is considered a wine, too, did you know?
In addition to these awards, wineries from Nine Lakes Wine Country also took home 6 Concordance Gold Medals and 10 Gold Medals. You can see the complete list of winners here.
