Welcome to Nine Lakes Wine Country, in the heart of East Tennessee. We call it Nine Lakes, for the nine lakes surrounding Knoxville, TN. Here you’ll enjoy relaxing scenic drives as you explore our three wine trails, each offering a unique style, from quiet spots in the country, to bustling tasting rooms in the middle of cities. We also have regular regional wine events, where you can always find a Tennessee wine you’ll love!

East of Knoxville | Great Smoky Mountains  – Where Nature and Wine Entwine. Come join us on the Foothills Wine and Cider Trail through mountains of beautiful scenery. There are so many things to see and do on the trail that you are sure to enjoy. Take a walk on America’s longest swinging bridge or zip line over the river. There are award winning wines and ciders, festivals and gorgeous vineyards. Also there is always something for everyone in Pigeon Forge. Go and see the breathtaking Tuckaleechee Caverns or the Cherohala Skyway Scenic Byway. Don’t forget the things to do at the wineries and cideries like fun at Foxfire Mountain Adventure, listening to live music or sipping wine on the patio overlooking the river. You may want to schedule two to three days for this great tour.

All of them have relaxing porches and beautiful views! Allow two days to travel this wine trail.

Sevierville, Gatlinburg – Make the Rocky Top Wine Trail part of your Smoky Mountain Vacation experience. Welcome to Smoky Mountain Wine Country! While here take part in the Rocky Top Wine Trail located in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains. The wine trail offers over 70 unique varieties of wine to sample! All five wineries on this trail are within 12 miles of each other, and can be visited in one or two days.
